Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus (approximately 10)
  • 1 rasher streaky bacon per stem

Method

  1. Break the ends off the asparagus and discard
  2. Wrap the asparagus from top to bottom with the streaky bacon pieces
  3. Heat a frying pan on medium heat and drizzle lightly with olive oil
  4. Once the oil is warm add the asparagus and fry until brown on each side - approximately 2 minutes each side
  5. Serve alongside other dishes or have as a snack
  6. Enjoy!


Tips:

  • When frying, place the side of the asparagus with the ends of the bacon rashers down first to prevent unravelling
