Ingredients

  • Salmon steak
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan on medium
  2. Rub olive oil, salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon
  3. When the pan is nice and hot add the salmon - skin side down
  4. Allow to cook until nice and golden and you can see the deep pink flesh turning pale until about halfway up - time depends on thickness of salmon
  5. Flip and cook on second side - approximately 2 minutes (if you like medium raw)
  6. Bring off the heat and slide salmon on to plate skin side up
  7. Serve alongside any salad, grain of choice or simply as is
  8. Enjoy!
