Ingredients
Salmon steak
Olive oil for frying
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Method
Heat a frying pan on medium
Rub olive oil, salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon
When the pan is nice and hot add the salmon - skin side down
Allow to cook until nice and golden and you can see the deep pink flesh turning pale until about halfway up - time depends on thickness of salmon
Flip and cook on second side - approximately 2 minutes (if you like medium raw)
Bring off the heat and slide salmon on to plate skin side up
Serve alongside any salad, grain of choice or simply as is
