Ingredients

  • 2 cups basil leaves
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pinch pepper

Method

  1. Place the basil and pine nuts in a blender, pulse a few times
  2. Peel the garlic, grate the parmesan cheese and add to the blender, pulse again
  3. Keep the blender on a low setting and slowly drizzle the olive oil in
  4. In the final few moments add the salt and pepper
  5. Enjoy!
