Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • small handful parsley
  • small handful coriander
  • pinch chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas
  2. Place chickpeas in a blender with all the remaining ingredients minus olive oil and baking soda, blitz until a smooth paste is formed
  3. Pour mixture into a bowl and add the baking soda
  4. Form mixture into balls about 1 Tbsp in size
  5. Bring a frying pan to medium heat and drizzle with olive oil
  6. Cook the falafel until browned on each side and cooked through - approximately 8 minutes in total
  7. Serve with hummus, tabbouleh salad or in our buddha bowl
  8. Enjoy!
