Ingredients
1 can chickpeas
2 cloves garlic
small handful parsley
small handful coriander
pinch chilli powder
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp olive oil
Method
Drain and rinse the chickpeas
Place chickpeas in a blender with all the remaining ingredients minus olive oil and baking soda, blitz until a smooth paste is formed
Pour mixture into a bowl and add the baking soda
Form mixture into balls about 1 Tbsp in size
Bring a frying pan to medium heat and drizzle with olive oil
Cook the falafel until browned on each side and cooked through - approximately 8 minutes in total
Serve with hummus, tabbouleh salad or in our buddha bowl
