Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 4 cups water
  • pinch salt
  • 15 mL maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. Add coconut, water, salt, and vanilla to a blender, blitz
  2. Grab your bowl and lie your cheesecloth over top
  3. Pour over the coconut mix and strain through the cloth
  4. Transfer the liquid to a glass bottle, seal with the lid and place in the fridge to cool
  5. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • If you don't have a cheesecloth handy, using a muslin wrap or tea towel is fine
