Ingredients

  • 3 cups berries (frozen or fresh)
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. In a medium sized pot pour in the berries, maple syrup and chia seeds, combine
  2. Turn pot on to a high heat and bring to a gentle boil, lower heat to medium-low.
  3. Simmer stirring frequently until the berries break down and the jam thickens slightly- approximately 13 minutes (longer if using strawberries)
  4. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla, combine
  5. Pour jam into a bowl and allow to cool
  6. Pour into a sealed jar
  7. Enjoy!

Tips:

Place bowl in the freezer to speed up the cooling process
