Ingredients
8 granny smith green apples
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Pinch lemon zest
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup honey
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
Method
Peel and core the apples, chop into eighths
Place apple in pot with remaining ingredients, bring to boil
Lower the heat, simmer for 15-20 minutes
Blitz apples with hand blender
Pour into a jar and allow to cool completely before using in a recipe or placing in the fridge
