Ingredients

  • 8 granny smith green apples
  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Pinch lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt

Method

  1. Peel and core the apples, chop into eighths
  2. Place apple in pot with remaining ingredients, bring to boil
  3. Lower the heat, simmer for 15-20 minutes
  4. Blitz apples with hand blender
  5. Pour into a jar and allow to cool completely before using in a recipe or placing in the fridge
