Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds soaked in water overnight
  • 5 cups water
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. Add soaked almonds to blender with water, salt, and vanilla, blitz until smooth
  2. Grab your bowl and lie your cheesecloth over top
  3. Pour over the almond mix and strain through the cloth
  4. Option to dry out the content in the cloth and use as almond meal or discard
  5. Pour liquid into a glass jar seal with a lid and cool in the fridge
  6. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • If you don't have a cheesecloth handy, using a muslin wrap or tea towel works fine
  • You can reserve the mixture left over in the cloth, dry it out, and you will be left with almond meal for any other baking!
