Barbell Thruster

Description

  1. Pick up the barbell safely with an overhand grip and bring to front rack position
  2. Hands slightly wider than shoulder width apart, feet under hips
  3. Come into a front loaded squat by hinging from the hips, bending your knees and lowering your body until your hips reach knee height. Maintaining a straight upper back throughout the movement - this is your start position
  4. Using a hip thrust movement drive your body to stand and push the barbell above your head, arms at full extension - this is your end position
  5. Return to start position, repeat for desired reps
