Barbell Bench Press

Description

  1. Lie with your back flat on the bench. Hold the barbell with an overhand grip, slightly wider than shoulder width. Hold the barbell firmly with arms fully extended, lifting barbell off rack. The barbell should line up with the mid-line of your chest
  2. Lower the barbell towards your lower chest keeping the elbows tucked in close to your body. The barbell should touch your chest. Hold for a brief moment.
  3. Return to start position, repeat desired number of reps
